Mission Statement

Our mission at Sunset Kids Learning Center is to provide all children with a loving, nurturing, and stimulating environment, in where the child can grow and develop each day through different age appropriate learning experiences.

Our Philosophy

Sunset Kids Learning Center believes in providing all children the opportunity to learn in a loving, nurturing environment, filled with daily challenges in which the children enjoy the experience of learning through age appropriate activities and through a developmentally appropriate program.  The children are able to achieve their potential through creative, fun educational program geared to enhance active participation of children, helping them to put their ideas into their own words and to help them develop and achieve their full potential emotionally, Cognitively, Socially and Physically, but most of all, to develop self respect and self confidence.

Inclusion Statement

Our center supports the federal law that prohibits discrimination based upon mental or physical disability.  Our center program will individualized the assessment to give all children the opportunity to participate with their peers in all age appropriate activities.  Inclusion of all children with disabilities will depend on the nature of the disability and training /experience of the center and its’ staff.  All reasonable modifications without having undue burden to the center will take place to accommodate every child’s needs.

Our Staff

The members of our staff are carefully selected, screened, trained and evaluated.  They take part in training programs and are constantly involved in continuing education programs and seminars.  They all have their 40 HRS hours required by The Florida Department of Children and Families, CPR and First Aid certifications, their Child Development Associate Equivalency (CDA-E), and are all childhood Educators.  The center is owner operated and supervised at all times.
